David Estes

David Estes serves as Treasurer of the Cross Plains Planning and Zoning Commission. David’s expertise and attention to detail in financial matters is the conduit that channels the stream of assessment the commission must provide when determining the viability of a particular project. Well suited for this commission, David is a member of the Board of Directors of Texas Heritage Bank as well as President of the Cross Plains branch of Texas Heritage Bank. David is a Certified Public Accountant, graduating  from the University of North Texas with a BS Accounting degree. David’s advice is a welcome commodity and the community is privileged to also have him serve on the Chamber of Commerce as president. 

David is married to Mindy and has three children – Thomas, Jake and Taryn. David is a member and Deacon at Cottonwood Baptist Church. David’s concern for the community in which he lives is evident by the commitment he espouses in his involvement in community affairs. David is a member of the local Kiwanis Club. David is an active member of the Cross Plains Area Housing Initiative. His commitment to the youth of his community is demonstrated by his membership in the Main Street Pool House Youth Center.
